I had all this video footage from June and July that I hadn’t used yet, so here goes! Y’all can click through and view Ruthie’s antics from June, and her discovery of fireworks in July.
Of course, both videos are archived and available for high-quality download from the links above. Enjoy them!

Uncle Kevin got to visit rather unexpectedly but wonderfully earlier this week, and I got to take a video of him and Daddy playing with Ruthie.

A Little Bit of Ruthie

One of the benefits of having a photography business is that I get to turn my fancy equipment onto my children, husband, and other loved ones. My most recent addition has been a pocket video camera, the Flip. After a decent amount of eBaying, I found a brand new HD version of the latest camera for a good price. It’s great for creating low-budget promotional video and slideshows for weddings, but also for capturing little family moments quickly and easily.
So here I give you the latest installment of vingettes of Ruthie, mostly from our family gathering on Memorial Day, and one from a sudden nap in the living room one day:

Ruth is definitely walking now. Absolutely, undeniably walking. She doesn’t always initiate it, but it’s clear that she’s got a new kind of balance.
Please forgive the scary facial expression at the beginning.

So I just recently figured out how to make videos on Steve’s computer. It’s super-easy, and I’d like to share with everyone what my little baby sounds like. (Please ignore me if you can.)
